Exotic and Antique Car Transport

If you own, are about to purchase, or need to show an exotic car, antique car, classic car, race car or other specialty vehicle it's likely that you'll need to transport the vehicle at some point. You may move, you may have purchase another specialty vehicle to add to your collection through eBay or other online source, or you may own a collection of such cars that you need to transport to a show or other event.

Specialty vehicles are often not driven regularly in order to preserve their value. Therefore, you probably won't want to dive the car to its destination or have someone else drive it for you. And, unless you have a trailer you regularly use for transporting your exotic, antique or other specialty vehicle, you're either going to have to rent one and learn how to use it or more likely hire someone to transport it for you.

At this point, you have two primary options for transporting your exotic, antique or classic vehicle:

GoAutoTransport can get you multiple free auto transport company estimates that can get you on the road to moving your treasured vehicle safely and efficiently.

Transport Vehicles and Options

You may not want to use an open trailer when transporting your exotic, antique or other specialty vehicle. Doing so will expose your valuable treasure to the weather elements and could make it more susceptible to theft. Enclosed auto transport trailers offer better protection. Companies who specialize in transporting exotic specialty vehicles often provide secure and safe loading on custom built covered trailers with full lift gates and tie-down systems that won't damage your vehicle. They may also offer airtight sanitary environments and full air shock absorbing equipment for smooth and even travel.

Most auto transporters of exotic vehicles will offer door to door delivery service provided they can get the transport vehicle to "the door" at your origin and your destination. Some specialty vehicle transport companies may even have a professional staff of mechanics. They may also offer increased auto transport insurance coverage – but check to see if they do. Additional information on insuring your shipment is included on our Car Transport Insurance page.
